Sally Ride became the first American female astronaut to go up in space. Come to the Chagrin Falls Branch Library to learn about other firsts for women in space and see what life is like aboard the International Space Station and sample some ice cream. At the end of the program participants will conduct an experiment demonstrating the basic principles of propulsion. This program is presented by the International Women’s Air & Space Museum. This program is for students 4th grade and up and it is sponsored by the Friends of the Chagrin Falls Branch Library. Registration is requested for this free program (440-247-3556).
