YHTCF is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic development and vitality of Chagrin Falls’ business district and preserving the lifestyle and historic character of Chagrin Falls.

We would like to thank you, our residents, visitors and businesses, for your generous gifts and support throughout the year. It is because of your generosity that we are able to continue our efforts in creating a positive sense of community spirit while preserving and enhancing our beautiful Village. With your financial support, we hope to continue to provide services to residents and visitors alike while maintaining our beloved Chagrin Falls traditions.

We ask now for your financial help for our 2017 projects. Your tax-deductible donation is an investment in the present and future of Chagrin Falls.

Your support will help us to continue to invest in the culture and future of our special and unique town.

VISITOR’S CENTER

The heart of the Village is Township Hall at 83 N. Main Street. We staff the desk and offer visitors a friendly welcome plus information, brochures, maps, directions, suggestions and historical background. We revise and update the Village brochures and maps semi-annually.

DESIGN AND BEAUTIFICATION

We provide annual flowers and plant materials in the spring and greens and holiday decor in the winter for 52 decorative urns that dot the sidewalks in front of the businesses and storefronts in the Village. Our volunteers lovingly and generously give their time to plant and maintain these urns.

CHAGRIN ON TAP

Chagrin on Tap , formerly called Wine by the Falls, is our only fundraiser. This event brings in some funds, we still could not do all that we do without personal contributions from you.

HISTORIC HOME AND GARDEN TOUR

One weekend every spring, Your HomeTown Chagrin Falls hosts the Historic Home and Garden Tour, where historic homes and gardens in the Village are open to the public for touring. Many of these homes reflect of the Village’s unique architectural heritage. Most were built between 1845 up through the 1920’s and showcase period decor and architectural details. Hundreds of visitors come from all over to attend this event. Dozens of volunteers and home owners work tirelessly to make this a not-to-be-missed annual event.

CHAGRIN FALLS FARMERS MARKET

Popular with locals and visitors alike is the Sunday morning Chagrin Falls Farmer’s Market, held on North Franklin Street from June through October. This weekly event offers seasonal fresh produce, bakery, pastas, meat, cheeses, herbs and flowers. Between 1,000 and 1,200 people attend this each week.

YOGA BY THE FALLS

Now in its fifth year, running the first and third Saturday from June through August in Triangle Park is Yoga by the Falls. These popular, free yoga classes are attended by around 100 yoga practitioners and attracting yoga enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

HOLIDAY TRADITIONS/HOLLY HALL

Every Christmas season, Township Hall is transformed, by our volunteers, into a magical, holiday wonderland that attracts families from all over Northeast Ohio. Visitors can take a break from shopping to enjoy cookies and hot cocoa while children visit Santa and are able to choose gifts in a special, children’s Christmas shop. An old-time train display is on view and guests can bid on over 70 mini-Christmas trees that adorn the Hall. Visitors can take the free horse and carriage rides that are available in the Village during the holidays. School choirs from around the Chagrin Valley perform in the Hall during holiday time as well. Our group coordinates and staffs all of these holiday events — free of charge to the public.
