Chagrin Falls, OH (November 3, 2010) – Kathleen Visconsi, a 25-year resident of Chagrin Falls and an active leader of many local organizations, has accepted the position as Director of Community Outreach for the non-profit organization, Your HomeTown Chagrin Falls.

Over the past eighteen months, the Board of Your HomeTown-Chagrin Falls has been conducting a careful internal review of the entire organization. Like any non- profit, we work hard to advance the organization and its mission, regardless of the current or expected economic environment. As a result, the Board has decided to reduce paid staff with the goal of becoming a more volunteer-based organization.

This morning, we notified Executive Director Nancy Haag that her employment will be terminated as we re-structure. The Executive Committee, our volunteers and the community appreciate Nancy’s hard work over the past eight years and we wish her all the best in her next venture.

All of our upcoming events will continue as planned. We are currently seeking volunteers to help with our Herb & Flower Festival (May 8) and our Biennial Home & Garden Tour (June 4-5) and invite anyone interested to call us (440-247-0900) or visit our website to volunteer (www. yourhometownchagrinfalls.com).
